Rhett B. Ramsey
A native of Wayne County, Rhett graduated from Monticello High School in 2009. He continued to Eastern Kentucky University, graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science in 2013. Rhett then continued his education at the University of Kentucky College of Law, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 2016.
Rhett was admitted to the Kentucky bar in September, 2016, and began his law practice as an Associate at Carroll & Turner, P.S.C. In December, 2017, Rhett became one of the founding partners at Garmon & Ramsey, PLLC. In addition to being licensed in all Kentucky state courts, Rhett is also licensed to practice in the federal court system in the Eastern District of Kentucky, Western District of Kentucky, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Rhett lives in Monticello with his beautiful wife, Charity, their son, Truett, and their dogs, Roux and JoJo. Rhett is very active in his community as a member of First Christian Church, Monticello Lodge #431, and the board of directors of the Wayne County Historical Society and the Downtown Monticello Foundation, Inc.
Rhett focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and criminal defense. He focuses on protecting the rights of individuals in civil and criminal matters alike, and ensuring that his clients receive the service they deserve. Rhett is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum®, The Top Trial Lawyers in America®, and has received numerous professional honors, including being recently selected to the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars, a prestigious honor bestowed on less than 2.5% of Kentucky lawyers.
